The Busiest Mom on Earth

So two whole days without a post?  You'd think I'd run out of things to say.  But no, you all know me too well for that don't you?  This new schedule we've taken on as a family somehow equates to me being the busiest Mom on Earth.  Seriously, I should have a cape and a mask and spandex.  Okay, maybe not spandex, no one wants to see that.  But between all the extra chores I've picked up, shuttling the kids to and from school/choir/karate, my day job and all my contract work, there just really aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done.  And unfortunately, the last two days, this, along with dishes and actually folding the clean laundry has fallen by the way side.  And of course, out of all of those things that have gotten dropped, this is the one I miss the most.

So, while I'm pretty sure the Queen Bee is the busiest mom on earth..

or maybe the queen ant..

I certainly feel like I'm a close second.  Fortunately, I've worked my little tail off so I would have a working day off today to run errands and generally catch up with my life.  We'll even be taking Bug and Bunny to the local Girl Scout Pumpkin Patch this afternoon.  And next weekend we have our girl scout hike and we'll be taking Bug and Bunny down to watch them move the Space Shuttle to it's new home.  So keep an eye out for more exciting adventures (and back to regular blog postings).

Seriously.. Thoughts?

PS. One thing I did take time for was to watch a movie I've been dying to see.  If you haven't seen Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, do so, you won't regret it.
